Principal's welcome
Welcome to St Anthony’s Catholic Primary Academy school website! We are very proud of our school and strive to be outstanding through our curriculum and wider opportunities. We also recognise our vocational duty to be concerned with the development of the whole person, in the image and likeness of Jesus Christ, and make every effort to forge a partnership with parents and the Parish. Our Catholic beliefs, values and principles underpin our school-promoting equality, tolerance and respect for the law so all can contribute to the common good. As Pope Francis said, ”What we are called to respect in each person is first of all his life, his physical integrity, his dignity and the rights deriving from that dignity, his reputation, his property, his ethnic and cultural identity, his ideas and his political choices.” St Anthony of Padua, our Patron Saint, said “Let your actions speak and your words teach.” We aim to model and teach his approach though all that we do as a school community. We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find the information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school directly with any queries you may have. We also welcome your views via the Ofsted Parent View St Anthony’s is also part of the St Gabriel the Archangel Trust. Please visit their website for further information and trust correspondents.

View all#stantsclm: The service concluded with station 12 - Jesus dies on the cross. THe whole church then knelt in quiet reflection. Well don`t to all involved for such a respectful representation of the Passion of Christ.
#stantsclm: Children from each class led us through the journey of the passion of Christ in Mass on Friday morning, reminding us of the story of Good Friday. This was a beautiful representation (pictures taken in the school rehearsal).
#stantsclm: Agony in the garden. Jesus prayed before he was taken to Pilate. Our olive tree from when we became part of St Francis and St Clare MAC had it`s moment. Thank you to the Liturgical Leaders for leading us in a prayerful service.
St Francis enjoyed listening to events from Holy week. They decorated crosses and buttered hot cross buns
#stantsclm: Overwhelmed by the quality of the art pieces this year! Today, the Liturgical Leaders had the difficult choice of judging this competition. We will share winning entries tomorrow. It was hard due to the exceptional efforts. Thank you to all who have entered.
