Subject Leader networks – Claire Fereday has asked that you return the attached with regards to the ADAPTIVE TEACHING task that you are being asked to complete. THIS WAS NOT EXPLAINED AT THE MEETING. You are asked to to plan, use and to reflect upon one of the adaptive teaching methods that were collated during the session.  At the next subject leader session you will be discussing this task.

FIRE REGISTERS @ lunchtime – started well and then only 50% of classes did this as requested on Friday. This will not work unless all engage in sending the register to the hall. PLease ensure that there are mechanisms in your class to ensure that this happens. Thank you.

We have two trainee teachers in school today – Ellie Bott and Saffron Sparks

8:50am MB to meet with Ellie and Saffron safeguarding/H+S

9am Ellie and Saffron to observe phonics – Ellie to go to JR, then SC then TT; Saffron to go toSC, then TT then CBo.

9:15am TD/AC admissions governors

10am Pre-admission meeting TD for Y1

10am Ellie (C10) and Saffron (C7) to observe KS2 English

11am Ellie and Saffron Tour Nursery, Nest and then Reception to see phonics across provision (with TD)

Ellie and Saffron working in JC Room for the remainder of the day. Observing NR Fast track and 1 pupil each (NR see TD re timings) and also Y5 TA delivering reading intervention (see TD to confirm timings – MM)

MB and MM collecting bus then football away match – team will be collected at 2:15 then change and leave by 2:30 at the latest.

Use of MarvellousMe for recognition to be sent home – there is a real variance across classes when looking at the summary report. Please review your use of this tool as it has a real impact with both pupils and parents.

Please refrain from sending children to the photocopier. Today there was a near data breach with a pupil able to see personal data for other children. Thank you.

WAMoRAM Y3/4- big thank you to all the staff who have joined me at WaMoRaM this week both linked to year 3 / 4 and those not. I appreciate your support and the children love seeing you there ( we have clocked up 226 miles just between Mon-Thurs so far this week) 

Thank you for the excellent effort with World Book Day. I heard lots of excitement, talking about the basis of people’s costumes – articularly from the youngest children. I recognise that the week feels longer when we do these events but it is all worth it and the impact on oracy, as well as reading for pleasure, is great.

Please ensure that you are using your SOAR time as we asked. If you do a book a day…write this on the poster by your door – or make it a child’s job to write it on each day. Thank you.
