TA support for transition week sessions – This is not definitive for September as we are expecting new pupils in more than Reception with SEND needs that we have to determine support arrangements for. We cannot do this until we have met them.

Transition lesson 9-10. (Please make sure that you use today’s new class list – there were changes made on Friday so please do not use the provisional lists that were shared last week) When sharing groups, please have vigilance to those who comment on destinations. This is more common at KS2, where children going to one class make comments which can be negative about the other class. Any pupils upset who are upset must be flagged up to TD/MB so that they can be supported.

10-12:30pm J Lomas History Coaching Visit – All Humanities books to TD’s office first thing please. Please identify any evidence from EYFS in learning journey big book. During the visit, JL will be completing some pupil voice interviews.

HISTORY COACHING VISIT timetable:

  • 10:00am – Meeting with CBr to gain her perspectives on the position in History – i.e. attainment and development needs for the subject
  • 10:10am – Book review – gaining lines of enquiry, including EYFS
  • 11am – Pupil voice – Y1-3 x6 pupils – with books
  • 11:15am – Pupil voice – Y4-6 x6 pupils – with books
  • 11:30am – Planning review including review of progression document and curriculum statement on the website
  • 11:50 – 12:15pm – collaborative action planning
