PRAYER TABLES – GREEN

Prayer focus – This week we focus on Our Lady and the Rosary (REMIND children that we focus on Our Lady in OCTOBER and MAY each year).

• EYFS and KS1 – Hail Mary daily focus and show the Rosary Beads.
• Y2 – Tell them what the JOYFUL Mysteries are (Use your class prayer book).
• Y3 – Tell them what The LUMINOUS are (Use your class prayer book) AND pray The Angelus
• Y4 – Tell them what the  SORROWFUL Mysteries are (Use your class prayer book) AND  Pray The Memorare
• Y5 – Tell them what the  GLORIOUS Mysteries are (Use your class prayer book) AND pray Regina Caeli and/or The Magnificat
• Y6 – Pray Hail Holy Queen (Salve Regina)

Mixed classes – look at the different expectations across the week so that they are exposed to them all

Homework Task – encourage pupils to draw an image of Our Lady or write their own prayer to her, to capture in your Big Class books.

EARLY CLOSURE – Lunchtime starts at 11:30 for EYFS/KS1 and 11:45 for KS2. Children to go into lunch in the usual order. 

EYFS/KS1 pupils will come back into class at 12:20pm, be registered and then be dismissed promptly at 12:45pm

KS2 pupils will come back into class at 12:30pm, be registered and then be dismissed promptly at 12:45pm

Children will still be able to access ANTS who will collect in the usual way.

1:30pm – Mass at SS Mary and John’s. Please see email regarding parking. Car sharing would be desirable as 12 schools are attending this Mass. Everyone is expected unless it has been discussed with TD.
